Why are masked marauding serial killers always white guys? There is Halloween's Michael Myers, who is heading back to the theater later this month. There is Jason from Friday the Thirteenth, Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street and I guess it all started with Norman Bates from Psycho.
We need a trained professional's opinion. Hello Lindsey, this is your homework-- I'll check back with you shortly.
Hellfest what can you say. This type of movie has a niche audience, one I'm not usually a part of. Moviepass has very limited offerings this Monday. However, the hacking and slashing was toned down a bit to not be too offensive to someone outside their normal viewer base. Comparing this movie to others in its genre, the body count isn't that high. That could be a positive or a negative depending on your expectations. Believe me, there is still hacking and slashing. It's not PG.
And don't get too excited because that doesn't really mean there is actually a storyline besides a serial killer who hunts his prey at a traveling horror park/show. Think Six Flags Fright Fest on Opiods on wheels going from town to town. Killing people from town to town. Shouldn't the polite be following this traveling murder site?
The ending is different, who knew psycho killers drove mini vans? I believe a Honda Odyssey, which makes sense with all the miles he puts on following the traveling horror show across the country slashing and hacking people. He probably has EZ pass.
I'm not a fan of this type of movie, but because it wasn't a total blood bath I give Hellfest a C-. I would NEVER spend money to see this at the theater. There were only 4 of us at the theater, so if you want to see this on the big screen I would go sooner than later. This is on life support.
